Dog cheerleading outfit

Roxy is a big gamecock fan but not such a big fan of her cheerleading outfit. She still has to wear it every week during South Carolina Gamecock football season.

Roxy would pull on her lease nearly until she choked herself on a walk. We had to get a choke collar to train her to walk on a lease. Of course we had to spray paint the collar pink to make mom happy. We got this collar at PetSmart.

About Me

I am a beautiful Puggle from South Dakota. I got on a plane ride 8 weeks after my birthday and it changed my life FOREVER! I'm a southern girl at heart just like my momma. I love people more than other dogs mainly because I think I am a person trapped inside of a dog's body. I am a little obsessed with licking and chewing but I am working really hard on my issues and hope to overcome them one day. When I don\'t get my way I either whine or bark and it usually solves the problem. I have two major goals in life. #1 is to eventually spend every night sleeping in the bed with my momma and daddy. I try really hard at this one but I just can't seem to be still or quite for very long. #2 is to be able to stuff the entire blue blanket into my mouth...i usually get busted as soon as I get started.

How to Treat Dog Hemorrhoids - How to get your dog to stop dragging their Butt

Dogs can get hemorrhoids just like people can. The treatment is remarkably similar.

What are hemorrhoids?
- Hemorrhoids are a complex of veins in the anal canal. When they get inflamed, hemorrhoids can enlarge and cause pain. The cause is usually a low fiber diet that leads to constipation and thus straining at stool which causes hemorrhoids to enlarge.

- Nearly all hemorrhoids in humans can be treated with diet modification and topical treatments - not surgery.

What do hemorrhoids look like?
- Hemorrhoids are swellings of tissue around the dog's anus. It is often irritated looking tissue because the dog will usual drag their butt on the ground.

What is the treatment for dog hemorrhoids?
- Diet Modification: Like humans, dogs need an adequate amount of fiber in their diet. Buy dog food that has more fiber or and fiber to the dog's water.

- Topical Medicine: The cycle of inflammation needs to be broken to stop the dog from dragging their butt and thus further inflaming the hemorrhoid. Apply a spray corticosteroid to the anus to decrease the inflammation. Thus apply witch hazel to the anus to provide relief from the itching and pain. Finally, the dog will need pants or a diaper to allow the medication to settle before then dog and wipe them off.
